On Probation by Misty Malone
Kelli's managed to get herself into a mess. She dropped out of college and started hanging with the wrong people, and now finds herself on probation, with one foot in a jail cell. Her older brother Phil convinces her to move in with him and go back to school.
Ready to get her life straightened back out, she welcomes his offer, but there's one problem. Unless she can find a probation officer willing to take her case as a transfer, the judge won't allow her to move out of his county.
Phil's good friend, Derek, is a probation officer, and when Phil asks for help for his sister, Derek doesn't pull any punches. He agrees to become Kelli's probation officer on one condition - that the young woman understands that her 'bratting' days are over.
Derek is man who believes that a good old- fashioned trip across his knees will do far more to impress the seriousness of the rules than anything else. The question is, will Kelli agree with him?

A Captive of Chance by Zoe Blake
Captain Jacques "Le Chanceux" (The Lucky) Tavernier is a pirate. He is not the bastard son of a wealthy duke, or some tortured hero in disguise on a noble quest. He is a pirate. He does and takes what he wants... and he wants Isabelle.
Isabelle is getting very tired of not controlling her own fate. First, her father ships her off to England to marry some decrepit lord, and now pirates have attacked the ship and taken her captive. No longer willing to be biddable and obedient, Isabelle decides to fight the pirate captain at every turn, even when his forceful seduction and creative punishments give as much pleasure as pain.
The fate of Isabelle's companion, Marina, is no better. Claimed by not one but two pirates to be used for their own dark pleasure. Isabelle is playing a dangerous game. Denying a pirate something he wants is never a good idea, especially when that pirate is powerful, handsome and determined to bend you to his will. Will Isabelle's pirate captor become her master, or will she capture his heart?

The Widow Wench by Joannie Kay
Ulf's and Kristin's sister, Hild, is now a widow with no desire to marry again. Her husband, Jon, was a cruel man who beat her mercilessly and used her without care for her feelings or well-being. Jon only wanted the money she could give him from the keep gifted her by her father, Magnus, and he cared not if his people suffered in the bargain. It was Kristin who learned the truth of her sister's terrible marriage and went to their father to complain. Magnus came at once to offer Hild his protection. When Jon came at him with murder in his eyes, Magnus dealt him a mighty blow. Jon fell on his own dagger and died, leaving Hild free. Now, Magnus was matchmaking again and attempting to find another husband for Hild, but she wanted no part of it!
Gust did not wish to marry again, either, and if not for his five-year-old son he would not consider it at all, but Hadd needed a mother who would love him as his own mother never did. If it meant he had to put up with a wife in order to gain a mother for his son, then he would suffer another marriage.
Gust was able to reassure Hild that he would never take his fists to her; he despised men who were cruel to women. But, he was honest and let her know that he did believe in spanking if it was warranted. Hild found she was able to accept that, and she promised she would never do the things his first wife did. Still, old ghosts were hard to put to rest, and both Hild and Gust had much to learn of love. The first time Gust thought to punish Hild with a spanking, she trembled in fear, terrified that Gust would lose control. Could she overcome her fear and learn to trust in love?

A Timeless Woman by Stevie MacFarlane
Despite her age, Marjorie Whitcomb is resigned to spinsterhood. One disastrous marriage has convinced her that the kind of man she wants does not exist. He is simply a figment of her imagination...and her fantasies.
Colton Mitchell has had Margie in his peripheral vision for two years. He always considered her 'quirky', with her vintage clothes and quiet manner. He never saw the real woman until he had to drive her home one night. From her vintage turquoise kitchen to her garter belt and stockings, he then realizes that she is a young woman with very old-fashioned ideas about love and marriage. And that's the very moment in which he decides that she isn't quirky, she is perfect!
But how close is Colton to Marjorie's idea of the perfect man?

“I’m not a child!” she protested.
“No,” Mr Jordan agreed, sliding down off his gelding. “I wouldn’t do to a child what I’m about to do
“But I wasn’t,” she pointed out. “We were fine.”
She watched in morbid fascination as Mr Jordan took off his gun belt, draping it over the saddle of his horse. Then he rolled up his sleeves to the elbows to expose corded, muscular forearms. He was really going to do it! There were no wooden spoons out here – was he just going to use his hand? The thought intrigued her. She took in his sheer size, his incredible strength, his powerful muscles, his well-toned body. She took note of his huge, calloused hands. She gulped. Somehow, she didn’t think Mr Jordan would need anything other than the palm of his hand to ignite a fire in her backside.
“I gave you an order,” he told her sternly, but so quietly that she could barely hear him.
“I’m not much good at taking orders.” She waved her hand dismissively. “It was just me and Neil for a long time. I’m not used to being obedient.”
THE CODE OF THE WEST – By Kelly Dawson
In the years since the tragic death of her parents, Jedda-Lyn Cross has given everything she has to keep the family ranch running. She has grown accustomed to getting no help at all from her alcoholic brother, but when his violent, sadistic friend tries to make Jedda his wife against her will, it is the last straw.
Her attacker is the son of the richest family in town, and with the corrupt sheriff ready to do his bidding Jedda is desperate to leave town in a hurry. With no money and no horse, her best chance of making her escape comes in the form of a soon-to-be-departing cattle drive led by the famous trail boss Wes Jordan. But a young woman has little hope of gaining employment on a cattle drive, so drastic measures will be required…
Wes is none too pleased when he discovers that the new drover he hired is actually a beautiful twenty-two-year-old woman disguised as a boy, but after hearing Jedda’s story he promises to protect her. As he quickly realizes, however, that will be easier said than done. Jedda is sassy, headstrong, and in serious need of a good, hard, bare-bottom spanking, and when her reckless disregard for her own safety finally pushes him too far, Wes takes her firmly in hand.
After a painful, humiliating punishment from the handsome trail boss, Jedda is left with her bottom burning and her mind set

Kelly Dawson loves anything to do with horses, rodeos and cowboys, and loves to get lost in a good book - preferably a rural romance where a strong woman falls in love with a ruggedly-handsome, tough but gentle cowboy, and these are the types of characters who feature in the stories she writes. Only in Kelly’s books, the cowboys are even better because they spank!
She lives literally at the bottom of the world in the South Island of New Zealand, with her husband, four kids, a dog and a cat.
We asked Kelly:
Do you have a specific writing style?
I thought I did, but it turns out that no, I don’t. The way I write, the topics I choose
Do you see writing as a career?
Absolutely! It doesn’t pay very much yet, but I’m hopeful that it will, one day. Being a writer is what I’ve always wanted to do, so this opportunity is a dream come true for me.
What is the best thing you have done in your life?
Marrying my wonderful husband and having my 4 beautiful children. They are what makes my life worth living.
Tea or coffee?
Coffee. Vanilla latte, preferably.
