Within the first two chapters of your novel, you should accomplish nine major tasks.   Do this, and it’s highly likely that your story is off to a great start.   Do you know what those nine things are?  This workshop will look at the first chapter of “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins as an in-depth example of how all nine goals can be accomplished in a very few number of words.
